However, a rocket moving differently from a pre-launch expectation does not automatically imply an external anomaly.

The more controversial step comes afterward, when those observations are interpreted as evidence for a structured anomaly, unknown technology or a phenomenon affecting the airspace above the ranch.
Because the public normally receives edited footage rather than complete experimental records, outsiders are left evaluating Taylor’s judgement as much as the underlying event itself.
