Introduction
The Defence Intelligence Agency (DIA) paper most often linked to Eric Davis is Traversable Wormholes, Stargates, and Negative Energy, a 2010 Defence Intelligence Reference Document (DIRD) written under a Pentagon-linked research effort associated with the Advanced Aerospace Weapon System Applications Program (AAWSAP). The leap from “official interest” to “official confirmation” is where the evidential problems begin.
Defence and intelligence agencies routinely commission exploratory research that examines possibilities rather than proven realities. The second question is whether that government work validates later claims associated with UFO crash retrievals, hidden programmes or non-human technology.
The wormhole paper does not answer that question.
The report contains no evidence of recovered craft, no chain of custody for alleged materials, no witness testimony regarding non-human technology and no technical data showing that an advanced vehicle had been analysed. Readers who move from “Davis wrote a DIA paper” to “therefore Davis’s UFO claims are proven” are making an inference that the document itself does not support.
